When it is time...

Everybody is talking about MJ's death with all his fans around the world are in the mourning state...The media covered the story of the most famous man in the world, the king of pop MJ died at the age of 50. He was reported to be in a good health and busy preparing for his last London tour concert. Recalled his words while announcing the concert;

"I just want to say that these will be my final show performances in London," he said to the screaming crowd. "This will be it. When I say this is it, this will be it."

All of these remind me, no matter who you are, how famous you are, with bunches of supporters and lots of money...no matter what, when the time comes you'll surely die....

So as a muslim, we should redha and always be prepared for that...

2nd OTI

I went to Aiman's school today for an appointment with his teacher regarding his second OTI result. The result was not impressive, he failed to maintain his first OTI marks. He got around 60plus for his math, science and english. I was told by his teacher that he is an active student in class not to mention he is the penolong ketua darjah:)) However, at home he is totally a different person...

I keep reminding myself not to push him as he is only 7 yrs old. However, if he want to stay in the first class (2 Ariff) next year, he needs to maintain a good marks. Why is it important for him to be in the first class?? That is how our education is like...:(( Being in the first class means that you'll enjoy the privilege of having a full attention from the teachers, learning mandarin (for his school) and every extras will be given to those in the first class.

It makes me realized even if I don't want to push him, I still have to follow the current system cause I'm part of the system:((( As a solution, I still need to push him to meet the standard...

Recalled my school's memory, things were not that complicated at that time...We had plenty of time to play, study and enjoy our kids time to the fullest. What happen to our education system?? Something should be done to the system as not to only stress on the academic but also to their inner value; some balance between academic and religious study as well as social activities...

Trip to kebun Abah

I went to Jerantut last weekend to eat Durian. We went to my grandma's house to have the fruits. Abah loves to farm, besides the durian (planted by my late grandpa) most of the fruits' tree such as langsat, rambutan and other vege were planted by abah.

I am not a durian eater but I do eat durian (sikit2 la). My choice of durian is those with sweet taste and less gas or senang cakap durian with low grade laaa:))). Only me and bibik ate those durian since my hubby and kids don't like to eat durian....Aiman only had rambutan and pity Alisa since she had mild cough so she can't have those fruits:(((

While we were enjoying eating the fruits, we heard some of the durians fell from the tree. Here are some of the fruits' tree and vege pics taken from kebun abah...

Durian yg baru jatuh, kat sebelah ni dlm proses menghabiskan

Banyak lagi atas pokok nunnnnn....

Rambutan's tree, abah called it as Rambutan anak sekolah. Maybe due to its small size. Abah mentioned that, the tree will start berbuah at 1 yr old and even if the color of the rambutan is still green but the taste is so sweet...

Life

Alhamdulillah, I'm back writing a new post on this blog after few days of busy schedules. Thanks to Allah that I'm still breathing....These few days passed with loads of stories and experiences, which I'm grateful most as it will be written as part of my life journey....Hhhmmmm why on earth I sound like this????!!!

I faced many difficult situations that I end up being frustrated and demotivated. Then I pray to Allah for His guidance, and Alhamdulillah it was paid with some sweetness. Then I heard of other frustration story occured to my friend and I realized mine was actually nothing as compared to him:(((

Again, thanks Allah for the signs given... I should always redha for what I have, stop complaining (this was actually the most difficult part) and move on...

Adam can stand!!!

Last week, finally Adam managed to stand up on his own:) Normally when I put him in the baby cot he will sit and playing with his toys. However, last week I saw him trying hard to stand up, maybe he knew time has come for him to stand and walk and clean up the house (waahhh so scary!!!) maybe after a tiring process, and finally he can stand up by himself, he was screaming..."Yeah!!". I can't believed what I heard, but it was true:)))

Like mother like daughter:)

As promised to Alisa, I bought her some scarfs. On last Friday we went looking for her scarfs at central point. We went from one store to another, since she wanted her scarf to be exactly like me:) Remember the 'munawwarah' scarf I mentioned last time???

After seeing me crazy with the scarf, she asked me to buy hers too. In the first place, she wanted to buy same amount of scarfs like me with the same colors. Wow!! that was lots:))) However, I persuaded her to buy only three as a trial:) and if she constantly wearing it all the time, I'll buy her more...and thus we came to the mutual agreement (that involved great diplomatic skill:))).

Looking for her scarf was actually a tedious process, since I'm not the kind of walking from one store to another to buy my staff!!Normally, I'll pick one or two stores and just buy it:)) But for hers, she was not satisfied with the design, colors etc. So we went to all stores located at the ground level plus a few stores at the first level. She must be taking after her father's trait on this one:)) However, on the shopaholic parts, obviously it was mine:))))

After about an hour of walking and choosing, she got all her scarfs. As usual, she loves to pose, so below were the pic taken with one of her new scarf.

On Saturday, we attended my hubby's close relative wedding feast in Marang. Alisa wore her newly bought scarf. And it is not Alisa if she didn't do her chicky pose. She even went to the bride's room and chatting with her and busy asking so many questions plus commenting on anything...She asked me one killer question...

"Mama, lepas ni aunty ni dapat baby pulakan?"

Never think of the question, but kids nowaday are so clever? mature?

Proffesor???:)))

I received a call from a Techsource sales person regarding the Matlab course.

"Hello, may I speak to prof ruzlaini please?"

"Yes'it's me speaking..." I was shocked, me...prof??!!#*

and she said,

"this is regarding the matlab course you've requested......"

and then I realized...:)))

Actually, during the course registration, I'm having a problem to change the salutation. The default was Prof, and I've tried to change it to Mrs. However, maybe due to the system problem, ... I couldn't change it. After several times of trying, I just ignored it and pretend that I'm a 'prof'...:)))

First time, I heard the prof title in front of my name is good though, even for a short period of time, I was mesmerized....hehehehe. Insyallah, one day who knows, I might be called as 'Prof Ruzlaini'....(Friends, bear with me yaaa!!!)
