Spot the difference...

Last week me and kids had lunch together after fetching Aiman and Alisa from school. After finished our meal, we were heading back to our car. Alisa was running cluelessly to the other car that she mistaken as mine (biasa la budak tu cam mama dia, main taram jek!). The car was the same brand and color like mine.I called her and told her that next time she should has recognized our car number. To my surprise Aiman with his sharp statement:

Aiman : Apa la.. adik ni kereta mama pun tak kenal...
Mama : A..ah la adik ni, lain kali tengok la nombor kereta mama...
Aiman : Entah adik ni, kereta mama kan pemegang pintu dia warna hitam, kereta tu warna putih
Mama : Ye ke bang? (while looking at my door handle and comparing with the other car)
Aiman : Ye la ma...mama tak tahu ke?

Hmm...actually even I didn't notice the difference...Aiman is soooo... like abah, detail gillerrr.Alisa as usual la definitely took after me...hahaha nak marah pun segan!!!!

Mama : betul3
Aiman : kenyang la ular tu sebab dia makan dua2 kan ma

Aiman : Mama, dekat pintu KFC tu dia tulis tak boleh bawak masuk binatang.Tapi...kenapa semut boleh masuk?
Mama :Sapa yg bawak semut tu masuk? dia masuk sendiri kan wakakakakak....
Abah : Semut tu bukannya binatang...

Promotion

Alisa doing promotion for my cakes at school...she's really good in marketing:)) From all the cakes and buns she brought to school, she managed to do a word of mouth marketing to all her teachers...One day she came back home from school with the message from her classroom teacher + other teachers as well...

"Mama, cikgu Z pesan suruh mama bagi senarai kek yg mama jual dengan harga.Cikgu suruh bawa esok jugak"

and today she told me:

Cikgu Z: Kek Tiramisu tu apa?
Alisa : Kek tu ada rasa biskut, susu dgn coklat. Best kek tu...

Gain weight

Our faculty have a prof visiting us. However, that was not an issue here:))) We took a pic with the professor and I notice something!! I am so skinny!!!! Looking at myself, I felt so pity:((( cam tak cukup zat jek minah ni...No wonder I heard some of my friends mentioned on how skinny I am now!! Waaaargggghhh....

I told hubby that I need to gain weight a little bit, and what he said?

"macam mana nak gemuk kalau tak makan..." or "Cemana nak gemuk kalau makan memilih sangat"

The thing is.... what he said was all true!!!(sigh....).
So, this will be part of my resolution>>GAIN WEIGHT!!!<<

Alhamdulillah had increased the sales after I launched my new blog and doing guerrilla marketing (this term I learnt during team building last time). I'm happy with the results as well as having quite hectic life:))) My PhD? almost 2 weeks left the research since I'm focusing on my biznez uhukss...Insyallah start doing it this week:)))

Happy 8th birthday to my beloved boy!! Aiman turns 8 today:)) Mama and abah wish you all the best in the world be yours. May our Aiman grown up as a good son and be a faith muslim, Insyallah...

I baked moccha mousse cake for his birthday, decorated with mock candles and Ben-10 pic. Meanwhile, Alisa also got her belated birthday cake since her birthday fell on December, so she can't celebrate with her friends at school:)) Her cake was decorated with barbie pic...Remember Alisa once asked me:

Kids' stories at school part 2

Alisa told me she felt like crying at school yesterday.Shocked with the statement, I asked her what happen...and she told me this (this story had been simplified as her version of the story was berbelit2 and it took me a while to understand the original version):

Alisa : Tadi kawan adik a,b,c and d (let's named it Group A) cakap dekat adik, jangan kawan dengan e and f (Group B). Tapi, adik nak kawan dengan diorang.

Mama: Pastu?

Alisa : Ada sorang budak ni (unidentified girl) marah dekat adik:((

Mama : Kenapa!? (I was carried over jap,issshhh nak kena budak pompuan nih!)

Alisa : Sebab dia cakap dekat Group A yang dia dengar adik bagitau kat Group B, Group A cakap kat adik jangan kawan ngan Group B..(I was puzzled jap@#$)

Mama : Kenapa adik cakap kat Group B?

Alisa : Sebab adik nak kawan ngan Group A, adik pun nak kawan jugak dengan Group B

hhhhmmm, now I knew...Her intention was not to pick up a fight with both groups and she wanted to befriend with both groups. However, it was mistakenly understood by this 'unidentified girl' that Alisa was badmouthing Group A. (pity Alisa:(( )

So, I told her:

Mama : Lain kali kalau adik tak nak gaduh dengan mana2 orang, adik kawan je la. Tapi jangan cerita apa yang orang lain dah burukkan diorang. Nanti dia ingat adik bawa mulut pulak...

Girls...girls...girls... so susah nak paham:))

Lain pulak cerita with Aiman:

Aiman : Tadi ada budak perempuan A ni jatuh dari kerusi. Abang dgn kawan abang Z, tak ejek pun dia. Kitorang buat tak tahu jek. Kitorang main berdua jek. Tapi, budak perempuan B ni gelak kat A.

Mama : Pastu?

Aiman : Pastu cikgu masuk.B mengadu dekat cikgu yang abang dan Z gelakkan A.Pastu cikgu cubit abang dan Z. Padahal kitorang tak gelak pun.

Mama : kenapa abang tak bagitau cikgu cerita yang betul?@#%$

Update...

So long not updating my blog:)) busy with so many things + so lazy to blogging... So, What I've been up to now? here's the update:
1. Attending my first PhD progress/proposal defense presentation.Overall, ok la, but bengang with one of the panel...she's in different background (comm.) and mine was power-e, and she's been hentam-ing me as if she is sooooo knowledgable in the field!! Lucky we have other panels which were good:))
2. Planning to market my product worldwide:) It has to do with my skill:)) what is the product? tunggu!!!! as I'm in the process of set up everything...When everything had been finalized, I'll launch it and let you gals know:)) (cam bagus lak uhuks!!!)
3. So many stories on Adam, tapi later on I update:)))

Upin & Ipin

Adam loves upin & Ipin soooo much. He watches the movie Upin & Ipin:Pengembaraan Bermula everyday!!! In fact, Aiman and Alisa had memorized almost all the lines from the movie, hahahaha!! Despite of watching the movie for hundreds time, he still afraid of the so called "hantu durian" scene.Sometimes, he'll standing behind the sofa with only one eye can be seen (really cute:))) However, most of the times he'll cover his eyes with his hands...

So takuttt....:))))

Progress Evaluation...

It's been a while am not posting any recipes on buns etc. Actually I've been baking almost everyday:))) but so malas uploading the pic..huhuhu Insyallah, I'll show all the buns I've made...but not now.

Next week will be my first evaluation for Ph.D. progress, gedebuk gedebak, I've completed 1 year already...so cepat kan:))) As my supervisor said: 1 year is like a blink of eyes...I'm pushing myself so hard as to complete within the targeted time...

Last time, I was planning on exploring a new field, so that's why I'm here doing research in a totally new area...I learnt a lots during this period, which I knew will be of valuable for me in the future..But, as you know, doing research is like you're entering a long dark tunnel, where you can't see the way out and you're not sure when you're coming out of it. However, you just walking, exploring, put your whole heart in it until you finally know that you're almost there....Hhhhmmm that's the feeling, that's what I felt....

So, during this time even if I knew I have a long way to go, I need to sustain,focus and be strong as the journey wouldn't be easy:(((( Keep reminding myself this again and again....

I've heard this sermon entitle "La Tahzan" which meant don't be sad, He said:

"We sad/afraid of not getting anything that we wish for.Why are we so sad??? Because we don't trust Allah...It's Him who granted everything.Even if you're try so hard, but if that was not meant for you, you'll not get it...So, why are you still sad? Believe anything Allah had arranged for us, and Insyallah you'll not feel sad anymore..."

Sinus

Went to East Coast Mall today for my sinus treatment by Permata Hijrah. They open a booth for free eye and sinus treatment from 28th Jan - 1st Feb from 10am - 10pm.I've heard their ad before on IKIM radio station.We arrived at 11am, and there were lots of people already ...

First I went to the sinus treatment area. I was given a couple of cotton buds to be inserted in my ears. I can feel the ticklish effect and singing sound in my ears which according to them was a sign of heavy sinus I had. Then, they asked me to suck strong powder through my nose. It's when my eyes started teary and followed by frequent sneezing.In fact we can hear everybody was sneezing around us hahahha...not recommended for kids to be around the area:)) This treatment was not allowed for those who suffered from asthma!!!

Then I was ordered to go to the real treatment area (where they charged you according to the treatment you received) and the treatment begin...I was sneezing and slime coming out from my nose (don't think need to explain further..as it was yyyaaakkk!!!). Completing the treatment, they suggested which product to buy for follow up treatment...So, I ended up buying the pill and nose drop for my sinus and Permata Terapi which was eyes massages for those whose rabun like me...It also helps to soothe tired eyes, reduced eye bag etc...So, I'll let you know the result later on....Meanwhile, during the treatment period,need to pantang,no more seafood, belacan and all the family!!! waaaa, there goes my appetizer!!!

However, really hopes my sinus will get cured...Insyallah, with Allah's will...
